Welcome to the 2014 National Championship site. This year we bring you the 2nd ever
National Championship regatta, October 25th and 26th, at Tred Avon Yacht Club
in Oxford, Maryland.
Nick Mortgu, Regatta Chairman and AMYA Class Secretary, has worked hard with the
experienced Tred Avon YC, to host this championship along with the support
from the Oxford RC Laser Fleet. Tred Avon has hosted numerous RC Laser
Championships over the past 9 years and the venue and meal experience will be first class.
Jon Elmaleh, owner/builder of the RC Laser, won the first National Championship
last year by one point over West Jersey skipper Rob Seidelmann. Who will
win this years regatta? Who knows? You have to compete to win. Enter early. Registration is
limited to the first 30 entries.
