DESCRIPTION:HOST: Sun Coast Model Sailing Club # 211 \nLOCATION: South County Regional Park\, 670 Cooper Street\, Punta Gorda\, Florida 33950 \nDIRECTIONS: South County Regional Park \nRULES: The racing will be governed by the 2013-16 Racing Rules of Sailing\, as amended by the United States Sailing prescriptions and incorporating Appendix E-Radio Controlled Boat Racing Rules\, the current RC Laser Class Rules and further sailing instructions mandated by the PRO during the course of the sailing day by announcing the changes. \nENTRIES: ON LINE\, AMYA Regattas \nELIGIBILITY: The regatta is open to all RC Lasers. \nFOOD AND DRINK: Lunch and beverages will be provided. \nSCHEDULE OF EVENTS:\nThursday\, February 26th\, 2015\n9:00 am Registration\n9:30 am Skippers meeting\n10:00 am Racing begins\nMid-day Lunch Break\n3:00 pm No race will begin after 3pm. Prizes to follow \nFORMAT: Will be announced at the event depending on the number of boats. \nENTRY FEE: The entry fee will be $20.53. Lunch\, gift\, and awards are included. \nSCORING: The event will be scored under the Low Point System described in the Racing Rules of Sailing Appendix A. There will be one throw out race after the first six races have been scored. SUMMARY:2015 National Championship
DESCRIPTION:This year will mark the 3rd National Championship regatta of the AMYA RC Laser Class. \nBeing held on January 17th and 18th at the Villages\, FL.\, Alan Perkins along with RC Laser Class secretary Nick Mortgu\, worked quickly along with members of The Villages RC fleet to host this championship. The Villages RC fleet has hosted numerous other RC Championships. \nDave Ramos of Stevensville\, MD won the 2014 National Championship in Oxford\, MD followed closely by 2nd place finisher Jim Kaighin of Marsh Harbor\, Bahamas\, and John Elmaleh of Brooklyn NY in third. \nWho will be the winner of this year’s regatta? You have to compete to win. Enter early. Registration is limited to the first 30 entries.
