DESCRIPTION:NOTICE OF RACE\n1st Annual Bow Lake\, NH RC Laser Regatta\nSunday\, September 12\, 2021\n \nWELCOME: Bow Lake Sailing has a new and growing RC Laser Fleet\, and we want to share a terrific venue and hospitality with other RC Laser skippers. This is our first annual RC Laser event\, and we welcome all RC Laser skippers to join us for a fun day of racing. \nELIGIBILITY: Bring an RC Laser. Regatta is limited to 20 boats. Register early. \nLOCATION: Bob Shapiro’s house on Bow Lake\, 7 Fire Rd 144\, Strafford\, NH 03884. Turn onto dirt road Fire Rd 14 go 100 yards. At end turn right onto dirt/grass road Fire Rd 144. Park on the right – please pack the cars in tightly. Walk past the 2-story earth toned house to the water. \nSCHEDULE:  \n\n\nSunday\, September 12\, 2021\n\n\n9:45 AM: \nSkipper’s Meeting\, Racing begins after meeting\n\n\nNoon-ish: \nLunch break\, lunch and drinks included\n\n\n2:30 PM: \nNo race starts after 2:30 PM; awards after scoring completed\n\n\nRULES: The regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing 2021-2024\, as amended by Appendix E for RC sailing\, prescriptions of US Sailing\, and further Sailing Instructions as announced by the Race Director during event. \nPENALTY SYSTEM: For the RC Laser Class RRS 44.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty. There is no penalty for hitting a course mark. \nFORMAT: We plan to sail one fleet. Courses to be announced. \nSCORING: The event will be scored under the Low Point System described in the Racing Rules of Sailing Appendix A.
