2021 RC Laser Southern Circuit

LOCATION: South County Regional Park, 670 Cooper Street, Punta Gorda, Florida 33950

DIRECTIONS: South County Regional Park

RULES: The racing will be governed by the 2017-2020 Racing Rules of Sailing, as amended by the United States Sailing prescriptions and incorporating Appendix E-Radio Controlled Boat Racing Rules, the current RC Laser Class Rules and further sailing instructions mandated by the PRO during the course of the sailing day by announcing the changes.

ENTRIES: ON LINE, RC Laser NA, AMYA Regattas 30 boat maximum.

ELIGIBILITY: The regatta is open to all RC Lasers.

FOOD and DRINK: Lunch and beverages will be provided. Coffee and doughnuts will not be provided.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Thursday, February 25, 2021

FORMAT: Will be announced at the event depending on the number of boats.
Single fleet or Gold /Silver fleets.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee will be $23.50. Lunch and awards are included.
One skippers gift at first entry of a Southern Circuit Regatta.

SCORING: The event will be scored under the Low Point System described in the Racing Rules of Sailing Appendix A. There will be one throw out race after the first six races have been scored. Ties will be broken according to Appendix A section 8.1 and 8.2.

PRIZES: The number of awards given will reflect on the number of participants.
