RULES: This event will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2021-2024, as amended by Appendix E for RC sailing, prescriptions of US Sailing, the RC Laser class rules, the Sailing Instructions, and further instructions as announced by the Race Committee during the event.
ELIGIBILITY: This regatta is open to RC Laser class remote control boats only.
LOCATION: The regatta will be sailed off the main dock at the Metedeconk River Yacht Club located at 43 Tilton Road, Brick, NJ 08723.
Guests are welcome, however to limited space on the main dock, visitors who are not competing shall not be permitted on the main dock while racing is in progress. Racing can be observed from the club balcony.
SCHEDULE:

| 9:30AM | Skippers Meeting First warning to follow the skippers meeting. If enough entries require dividing the entrants into multiple fleets, then an odd/even fleet system will be employed. In the odd/even fleet system, each race consists of an odd fleet race, followed by the even fleet race. The placement in each fleet is random for the first race, and then determined by the previous finish for subsequent races. |

REGISTRATION: Registration fee is $28, and includes breakfast and lunch. Additional lunches can be purchased for $15.
Registration can be completed online at https://theclubspot.com/regatta/sC5VErmlVc or on the day of regatta. Additional lunches can be purchased as well when registering.
Entries must be submitted and paid for by April 1, 2022 to guarantee lunch.
Registrations will be limited to 30 boats.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Sailing instructions will be available no later the day of the regatta.
SCORING: The scoring system as defined in RRS Appendix A shall be used.
Depending on the number of entrants, odd/even scoring shall be used.
In odd/even scoring, all competitors are initially randomly divided into an odd fleet and an even fleet. Subsequent odd and even splits are determined by the finish of the previous race.
Each race consists of an odd fleet race, followed by an even fleet race.
All competitors scores are combined and scored together to determine their regatta finish place.
When fewer than 6 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race
scores. When between 6 races and 12 have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score. When 12 races or more have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst scores.
One race (including both an odd an even race in the event of a fleet split) race is required to be completed to constitute a series.
AWARDS: Prizes shall be awarded to the top 3 competitors.
