NOTICE OF RACE

RC Laser North American Championship Regatta

September 26 and 27, 2015

HOST: Marbleheaders of Spring Lake

LOCATION: 140 W. Lake Ave. Spring Lake, NJ

RULES: The regatta will be governed by the “rules” as defined in the Rules of Sailing, as modified by Appendix E, Notice of Race and sailing instructions, AMYA RC Laser Class Rules.

ELIGIBILITY: The regatta is open to all RC Laser Owners.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday, September 25th, 2015
2:00pm to 4:00pm Registration, Boat Measurement, Practice Races

Saturday, September 26th, 2015
8:30am Registration, Boat Measurement
9:30am Skippers Meeting
10:00am Racing begins
Mid-day lunch break
Racing continues
4:00pm No race will start
6:00pm Dutch Treat Dinner

Sunday, September 27th, 2015
9:30am Skippers Meeting
10:00am Racing begins for Gold and Silver Fleets
Mid-day lunch break
3:00pm No race will start
3:30pm Awards

ENTRIES: Regatta will be limited to 30 boats.
Eligible boats may be entered by completing online Entry Form and submitting it prior to September 12, 2015 with an entry fee of $55.
Entry fee includes coffee and light fare and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

SCORING: Racing will be under low point system.

PRIZES: Trophies for Gold and Silver fleets (with registration over 20 boats), other individual awards, and sailor’s gift.
