12th Annual RC Laser Midwinter Championship Regatta
February 28, 2015 - March 1, 2015
$45SPONSORS: Marco Island Model Yacht Club (MIMYC) in conjunction with the City of Marco Island Department of Parks and Recreation. The regatta is organized under the overall authority of the MIMYC and the AMYA RC Laser Class.
RULES: The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2013-2016, as amended by the United States Sailing prescriptions and incorporating Appendix E-Radio Controlled Boat Racing Rules, the current RC Laser Class Rules and further sailing instructions as mandated by the Principal Race Officer (PRO) during the course of the sailing day by posting and announcing the changes.
VENUE: Frank E. Mackle Community Park, 1361 Andalusia Terrace, Marco Island, FL 34145
ENTRIES: Entry fee $45 due by February 15, 2015. Entries may be submitted online at: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/43544403130947 OR by mailing in the attached Entry Form with the entry fee. Entry fee includes Saturday and Sunday lunch, sodas and water, awards and skippers gift. Saturday dinner is not included.
FORMAT: Two fleets (Gold/Silver) system: Qualifying races will be held Saturday to divide the total fleet into two fleets. Sunday the fleet will be separated into Gold and Silver with Saturday’s scores being used.
