2015 Shamrock Regatta

$15UPDATE: THE REGATTA HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR APRIL 18TH AT RIVERTON YACHT CLUB.
NOTICE: DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, THE REGATTA HAS BEEN POSTPONED. A NEW DATE WILL BE SET SHORTLY.
HOST: West Jersey RC Laser Fleet
LOCATION: Riverton Yacht Club, Main St. & Bank Ave, Riverton, NJ 08077
RULES: The racing will be governed by the 2013-16 Racing Rules of Sailing, as amended by the United States Sailing prescriptions and incorporating Appendix E-Radio Controlled Boat Racing Rules, the current RC Laser Class Rules and further sailing instructions mandated by the PRO during the course of the sailing day by announcing the changes.
ENTRIES: Entry forms will be available day of Regatta.
ELIGIBILITY: The regatta is open to all RC Lasers.
FOOD AND DRINK: Pizza and beverages will be provided.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Saturday, April 18th, 2015
9:30 am Registration
9:50 am Skippers meeting
10:00 am Racing begins
12:00 pm Lunch Break
1:00 pm Racing Continues
3:00 pm No race to begin after 3pm. Prizes to follow
FORMAT: Will be announced at the event depending on the number of boats.
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee will be $15. Lunch and prizes are included.
SCORING: The event will be scored under the Low Point System described in the Racing Rules of Sailing Appendix A. For every 6 races sailed, a boat’s worst score will be excluded. Ties will be broken according to Appendix A section 8.1 and 8.2.
PRIZES: Trophies will be awarded to the top five skippers.
