PLANNING YOUR TRIP TO NEWPORT:
If you’re planning to head to Newport this summer — or if you live there — there’s an app for that.
Newport Life magazine has just released its updated MyNewportRI app, available at the app store on your mobile device, Android or Apple. It’s the online equivalent of the magazine’s annual Newport Best Read Guide, which prints 100,000 copies every year.
The app is full of event listings; places to eat, drink and stay; coupons and deals; and more. And unlike a print publication, the MyNewportRI app can be updated. The plan is to do so frequently throughout the summer.
So download it, and get a leg up on your next trip to Aquidneck Island.
