RULES: The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2021-2024, as amended by Appendix E for RC sailing, prescriptions of US Sailing, the RC Laser class rules, the Sailing Instructions, and further instructions as announced by the PRO/Race Committee during the event.
ELIGIBILITY: The regatta is open to all RC Laser Class boats.
LOCATION: The Docks and Bulkhead of the Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May, at 1819 Delaware Ave, Cape May NJ, 08204. The Club is located next to the US Coast Guard Training center
SCHEDULE:
8:30AM | Registration, Boat Inspection |
9:30AM | Skipper’s Meeting |
10:00AM | Racing Begins |
Mid-Day | Lunch Break Racing continues |
4:00PM | Racing complete when a full heat cycle has been completed. Results will follow as soon as final scores are tabulated |

Regatta will be limited to 27 boats. Entry fee of $30 (payable via on-line registration) includes lunch, refreshments, and awards. Extra Lunches at $17 each.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Sailing instructions will be available at the skippers meeting.
SCORING & FORMAT: The event will be scored under the Low Point System described in the Racing Rules of Sailing Appendix A. Depending on number of participants Grouped Heat Racing will be the format. The fleet will be randomly split into 3 groups (A, B, C) for morning heats then group assignments are randomized again, for afternoon heats. Two groups will sail together in each heat and be scored as one fleet for that heat. Schedule of races and group assignments will be distributed by the PRO at the skippers meeting.
AWARDS: Prizes will be awarded to the top 4 skippers.
MEASUREMENTS & EQUIPMENT: A boat and her equipment may be inspected at any time for compliance with class rules and sailing instructions.
PARKING: Participants may pull into the boat yard near the sailing building to unload but please park across the street.
