KENT ISLAND KICKOFF

RULES: The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2021-2024 as amended by Appendix E for RC sailing, prescriptions of US Sailing, the RC Laser class rules, the Sailing Instructions, and further instructions as announced by the PRO/Race Committee during the event.
NATURE OF THE EVENT: Organized by the Oxford RC Laser Fleet and hosted by the Kent Island Yacht Club (Jeff Smith, Commodore), this event is being held to kick off the startup of an RC Laser fleet at the Kent Island Yacht Club.
WHO IS INVITED: The regatta is open to all RC Laser class boats
LOCATION: KIYC / 117 Yacht Club Drive, Chester, MD 21619
Broad water location off water-level bulkhead with parking
SCHEDULE:
| Racing | 10 AM (first gun) to 1 PM |
| Lunch from food trucks | 1PM – 2 PM |
| Q&A and sailing for potential skippers | 2pm on |
BONUS: The annual KIYC car show will be in process.
AWARDS: prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers
ENTRY FEE: $10 upon arrival
