NOTICE OF RACE
14th Annual RC Laser Midwinter Championship Regatta
March 4-5, 2017
Sponsors: Marco Island Model Yacht Club (MIMYC) in conjunction with the City of Marco Island Department of Parks and Recreation. The regatta is organized under the overall authority of the MIMYC and the AMYA RC Laser Class.
Rules: The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2017-2020, as amended by the United States Sailing prescriptions and incorporating Appendix E-Radio Controlled Boat Racing Rules, the current RC Laser Class Rules and further sailing instructions as mandated by the Principal Race Officer (PRO) during the course of the sailing day by posting and announcing the changes.

Entries: Limited to 30. Entry fee $50 due by February 19, 2017. Entries may be submitted online at: https://www.jotformpro.com/form/70005012052938?preview=true
Entry fee includes skipper’s Saturday and Sunday lunch, sodas and water, awards and gift.
Format: Two fleets (Gold/Silver) system: Qualifying races, in odd-even format, will be held Saturday to divide the total fleet into two fleets. Sunday the fleet will be separated into Gold and Silver fleets, with Saturday’s scores being carried forward.
